We know that divorce and family separation is so much more than a legal problem – it’s a relationship problem (and hat is one of the reasons why mediation is such an effective solution for resolving disputes in this space), clients are under pressure during divorce (in terms of time, money and emotional capacity); and we are becoming increasingly aware of barriers to advice, for example experienced by the neurodivergent community.
In this session we look at how digital solutions may be able to improve the experience of mediation for clients by giving them access to information alongside the mediation process, thus helping them to better understand the legal landscape, feel empowered to ask relevant questions. access wellbeing support and access guidance to help them support their children. This will include:
- Learning about various platforms and applications that can further support clients in mediation by providing emotional, logistical and legal information
- Understand the ethical and privacy considerations
- Understand how these tools can help mediation clients in practice through a case study
