Your speakers
Sarah is a Partner and Head of Mediation at Hall Brown Family Law, a boutique national family law firm. Sarah is a practicing solicitor and accredited mediator specialising in high net worth and complex children and financial matters. Sarah champions Non-Court Dispute Resolution in her practice as a mediator and solicitor and an active advocate to promote this way of working.

Sarah is the Chair of Family Mediation Week and was recently named Family Mediator of the Year at the National Mediation Awards. Sarah is on the Resolution DR committee, which is aimed at leading in process and practice in NCDR.

Kerry Slater has been a Psychotherapist for 7 years and worked with a broad range of clients including therapeutically supporting and supervising the fee earners of five large law firms. She has an MA in Psychotherapy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling. Her research interest has been in Shame and low self-esteem disorders and she has specific training in Trauma, Mindfulness, and working with Burnout, Anxiety and Depression. She is an Accredited member of the British Association and Counselling and Psychology (MBACPAccred).
Karin Walker is founder of the award winning niche family law practice, KGW Family Law, based in Woking. The ethos of the firm is to assist separating couples to resolve their issues through constructive communication. A former chair of Resolution’s DR committee, Karin is a mediator (classic, hybrid and child inclusive), a PPC, a collaborative practitioner and an arbitrator (finance and children). She also sits as a pFDR Judge and is a neutral evaluator. Karin has developed a specialism in dealing with high conflict cases and has spoken widely on the topic of Narcissism in Family Law.  She currently hosts the podcast ‘How to leave a narcissist – the practical podcast – available on Apple and Spotify
